A lifetime of support at university

May 5, 2023 - 1 min read

Australia is known as a safe and welcoming country for students from all around the globe.

Nisarga, from India, recently completed her Master of Information Technology at Deakin University in Melbourne. She tells us she ‘was surprised to see the cultural diversity, and to meet people from all around the world.’

She has no regrets about her choices. ‘Melbourne has amazing people, they’re very friendly,’ she says. ‘And the nightlife is amazing here. You can hang out with your friends anytime. You still feel safe.’

‘My parents are very proud of me.’ – Nisarga

Even though she has graduated from Deakin and is working as a software engineer, the university continues to support her career goals. ‘I still get job alerts from DeakinTALENT. It is available for you for life!’

And those classmates from around the world? ‘They’ll stay with me forever. They helped me in every step I took in my journey. They’re friends for life now.’
